LOS ANGELES, CA – Serving to highlight that Kevin de León is the best candidate for Californians and animals throughout the state, the Animal PAC today announced their endorsement of his run for United States Senate.
Tony Hale, Executive Director of Animal PAC, released the following statement endorsing Kevin de León:
“On policies that support the humane treatment of domesticated pets and the protection of wild animals along with their natural habitats, Senator Kevin de León is the strongest choice to represent California in the United States Senate.”
California State Senate Leader Kevin de León consistently backs legislation to expand protections for animals, and fights for their humane treatment. In 2017, he backed legislation mandating that pet stores in California can only sell animals rescued from shelters or rescue centers. He also voted to prevent known animal abusers from working in pet boarding facilities.
